Guest guest
Hello all, Any one on this list gone through having kidney stones??? im "experiencing" two right now... one in the kidney and one on the way to the bladder. I am wondering if there are kriyas or asanas to help relieve pain, or to help pass a kidney stone? or anything one should avoid when practicing KY with a passing kidney stone...? thanks! Guest guest
Sat Nam Sat Purkh Kaur, May I suggest that you do not try to do anything on your own until you have had them ex rayed & are sure that they are able to pass thru, as an herbalist I can tell you that if they are too big & you try something on your own you may cause more damage than good...seriously, make sure first...if they are too big, they have a device that can brak them down...if they are able to pass you can contact me personally & I can give you an herbal recipe that will help them dissolve...this tea is also good to drink as a future preventative...bless you, Jeannette --- SatPurkhKaur wrote: > Hello all, > > Any one on this list gone through having kidney > stones??? > im "experiencing" two right now... one in the kidney > and one on the > way to the bladder. > > I am wondering if there are kriyas or asanas to help > relieve pain, or > to help pass a kidney stone? or anything one should > avoid when > practicing KY with a passing kidney stone...? > > thanks! > Sat Nam > Sat Purkh Kaur > > SiteBuilder - Free web site building tool. Guest guest
Dear Sat Purkh Kaur, Don't fool around or delay dealing with kidney stones especially if one is already in the urethea. My daughter just went through this and was told it could have killed her. Guest guest
Hi Ruth & Jeanette, Thanks for your responses and concern... =) I forgot to mention that I did have ESWL (shockwave lithotripsy) on one stone already. this one (5mm) was in the kidney and has been "fragmented" so i am passing the pieces now. the other stone (10mm) that was on the way to the bladder, in my ureter, "vanished" when they brought me in for ESWL and tried to find it with ultrasound and xray. they think I must have passed it on my own... but i am not convinced! I guess what I meant by a kriya that would help "pass the stone" was if there was one that would help the body produce the proper chemicals (if that the right word) or energy to help break it down, rather than a move that would physically push a stone out. (ouch!) And also relieve pain when the stones, fragments do deside to pass... But also very important is if there are movements i should avoid in KY, so that "pushing" doesnt occur manually. sorry to be so descriptive!! but i wanted to make sure you knew I wouldnt do anything too foolish.... hehe.... =) Sat Nam _/\_ Sat Purkh Kaur Kundaliniyoga, "Ruth and John" <Jtrgdean@k...> wrote: > Dear Sat Purkh Kaur, > > Don't fool around or delay dealing with kidney stones especially if one is > already in the urethea. Guest guest
Sat Naam, I have heard that the acupuncture/acupressure point in the middle of the upper lip is a powerful anesthetic and has been used successfully for eradicating pain for passing kidney stones. You may want to research more and give it a try!? Guest guest
Sat Purkh, good morning If you are sure that they are passible, this is a wonderful recipe to help them move on...do I can't say it enough...if they are too big to pass this "will" release them & could cause more damage than good, I just want to make sure that you understand this...smile "Kidney stone tea" (measure in parts) 4 parts hydrangea 2 wild yam rt. 2 crampbark 2 joe pye weed (queen of the meadow) 1 cornsilk 1 plantain 1 marshmallow rt 1 yarrow 1 fennel 1 juniper berries when I make up a big batch batch,I will mix together leaves & flowers in one canister & roots & bark in another. To make: use 2 cups of water & add 1/2 Tablespoon of the root mixture to the cold water & gently bring the water to a boil, turn the heat down & simmer very low for 10-15 minutes, turn heat off & add 1/2 Tablespoon of the leaf/flower mixture & allow to sit for 10 minutes... strain & drink 3-4 cups a day... You can if you like make enough to last thru the day & keep it in a thermouse, but please discard any that is left over after the end of the day as it doesn't have a long shelf life once cooked up... the herbs in their dry form will stay good for one year in a dry, dark cubard... after they are all gone, you can use this as a preventative, drinking say 3 cups a day each weekend... If you have any questions please let me know, bright blessings, Jeannette --- SatPurkhKaur wrote: > Hi Ruth & Jeanette, > > Thanks for your responses and concern... =) > > I forgot to mention that I did have ESWL (shockwave > lithotripsy) on > one stone already. this one (5mm) was in the kidney > and has > been "fragmented" so i am passing the pieces now. > > the other stone (10mm) that was on the way to the > bladder, in my > ureter, "vanished" when they brought me in for ESWL > and tried to find > it with ultrasound and xray. they think I must have > passed it on my > own... but i am not convinced! > > I guess what I meant by a kriya that would help > "pass the stone" was > if there was one that would help the body produce > the proper > chemicals (if that the right word) or energy to help > break it down, > rather than a move that would physically push a > stone out.
