Guest guest
I´m happy to say that I have persevered with KY, and found the problem to my depression and a short fuse, weak adrenal glands. Starting with the kriya recharging and balancing the nervous and immune systems, made me feel better, but i didn´t know why. Something with my left arm. Then i looked in the appendix and found simple execise resisting with my left arm bent at the elbow with palm facing inwards, while i pressed with my right hand grabbing at the wrist with four fingers pressing inwards for 2-3mins, this also brought relief, by causing excessive glandular secretion. Then i realized my problems, weak kidneys and adrenals which normaly help us deal with stress. This would explain why two years ago I was taking huge amounts of Siberian Ginsing for their glandular effect stimulating the adrenals, not a good idea, to take 20 pills a day and end up with heart palpitations like i did but otherwise an excellent adaptogen for stress. It might raise your blood pressure, so be careful I´m relieved to find the cause of my misery. Now, and I´m doing the Stress Meditation for the lower triangle in Relax and Renew and it had made me feel like a new person. There is also a Stress Kriya set (to build adrenals and kidneys) set in Relax and Renew but no times are given for the duration of the exercises? Would anyone know the times, I´m on a mission. By the way, licorice my new herb, european, also cuts cortisol, the stress hormone, but also raises blood pressure. Hope this might help some stressed out people, get the books they are invaluable. I only spend 30mins a day and i feel new! -Chris Spain SiteBuilder - Free web site building tool. Try it!
Guest guest
Sat Nam Chris, Relora also works with reducing cortisol levels wonderfully and a high potency B-Vitamin is good for burned out adrenals....nothing better than KY though....keep up! Guest guest
Dear Chris, Thanks for sharing your results! Then i realized my problems, weak kidneys and adrenals which normaly help us deal with stress. I´m relieved to find the cause of my misery. * It is amazing how many times stress is the cause. Now, and I´m doing the Stress Meditation for the lower triangle in Relax and Renew and it had made me feel like a new person. * Great! There is also a Stress Kriya set (to build adrenals and kidneys) set in Relax and Renew but no times are given for the duration of the exercises? Actually no times were given when this was originally taught. Generally we work up to doing the exercises for 2 minutes unless otherwise specified. Now the case of this set is very interesting. We have to be very careful with the adrenals and kidneys. We want to strengthen them but at the same time we do not want to stress them out more. Also strengthening these organs is not like a muscle. They need energy and nourishment with movement and the breath. Too vigorous areobic exercise can deplete them. I know this personally because I did ths set once very vigorously when I was tired and felt exhausted after the set. I figured out what I am sharing now. So start with 30 seconds and work up to 2 minutes. Be sure to relax between exercises. A rule of thumb is to relax or sit quitely until your breath and heart beat return to stable or normal. Feel the breath during and between the exercises nourish the kidneys and adrenals. Monitor that when you inhale, you expand your back where your kidneys are. Put your hands on the side backs where the kidneys are to monitor how you are breathing. If we inhale and pull in, this takes the breath and energy out the of kidneys. This is a very common thing that many of us do. We need to retrain ourselves to inhale, expand our breath into the kidneys. Please let us know your experience.
