Guest guest
This may have been discussed earlier but I am new so please be gentle. :0P I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder 2 years ago after 5 years of misery. Basically, my reproductive system went bonkers. When the hormones started bouncing all over the map, I was sent to a psychiatrist by a well-meaning but not very educated gyn. The psych started me on antidepressants. Unfortunately I am one of those that responded horribly to them--physical as well as mental results including suicidal and self-destructive tendencies. I am now on lamictal for the bipolar but would like to try it without medication. Thing is, one has to start or stop lamictal very slowly so I am looking at a potential long window of opportunity for starting up again if I am unsuccessful. Any advice? Realize that I take it all as advice but would never dream of acting on anything without very extensive thought, study and discussion with professionals. So please don't hold back thinking that I might take advice that is not good for me. It is my responsibility, not yours. Many many thanks in advance.... brenda
Guest guest
Brenda, here is something for you to read and think about. I suffered with anger and depression, and this is what worked for me. Six months, or less if you really work at it. A complete description is available at the link below. I would think a detox diet would also help. http://pages.nyu.edu/~er26/depression.html Sat Nam, Mike I am now on lamictal for the bipolar but would like to try it without medication.
