Guest guest
SAT NAM Joanne, I am very happy, that you did it. CONGRATULATIONS !!!! Actually I am also preparing some of my students for a 40 day Sadhana - starting every day 4.00 am. Most of them are scared - what if I can't make it, what if in the evening I am early tired - too tired for going out, too tired for having late business dinners, will other people laugh about me, or think that I am gone nuts, what is my partner saying after a couple of days, etc. Lots of reservations, of hesitation, lots of self limitation ;-) Since we are all working and are somehow living a 'normal' life, the practice of Sadhana is not always 'easy'. A full blown Sadhana is - at least for my understanding - a will test ('discipline'), but also the start of a shift in routines and habits. Funny enough, if you really want to do it - the space for it is opening. So keep up with the good stuff, and if you should 'stumble' (pssst - everybody does sometimes ;-), simply pick up the routine again and go for it. Soon you will realize - if you don't do Sadhana, something is missing, and you wonder how you have made it all the long years without it.... Sending blessings and love from Shanghai, Adarsh S.
