Hi Marzipan:

 

The fire breath is great for raising energy as well as clearing the

nasal passages. It is powered by the diaphram or the muscles under

the navel. It is a quick shallow breath through your nose, about 1

or 2 per second. Basically, you contract the muscles below the navel

sharply. Then re-inflate the diaphram. The re-inflation is mostly

efortless. It should be like a quick bellows action faning the fire

of the kundalini. You can also apply the root lock by contracting

the anus and urethra slightly. This tends to happen autmatically

anyway.
