Guest guest
Sat Naam Thank you for your posts on Mudras. I use them every day and find them very effective. Another book to get is Mudras: Yoga in your Hands by Gertrud Hirschi. I use the Maha Sirsh mudra you describe below, even when I suffered from migraines, it provided some relief!! Maha Prem ranjit k. >"Marz Pan" <marzipan93 > >There is also a mudra for this problem, which works for me when I apply it >with sincerity. It's called the "large head mudra", I don't remember the >sanskrit name. It is a realatively simple mudra, I'll attempt to describe: > Connect the tips of the index and middle finger to the thumb. The ring >finger should curl down and tuck the fingernail under the meaty part of >your thumb. Stick the pinky finger out as straight as possible. It is >difficult to get the pinky straight at first, as you work with it this >becomes easier. Do the mudra with both hands, and if you want, you can >bring them together and put the pinky tips together in such a way so you >can put gentle pressure on them in order to straighten them out.. gentle >pressure!! don't break your finger! This mudra is specifically geared >toward congestion and sinus problems, which is said to be a result of the >accumulation of some energies or blockages of which I am not educated >enough to comment on. _______________ Check out MSN PC Safety & Security to help ensure your PC is protected and safe. http://specials.msn.com/msn/security.asp
