Hi All,

All posts regarding KY during menses have been

extremely insightful and helpful. I'm practicing the

Nabhi Kriya these days which involves a lot of leg

lifting. Would like to know if leg lifts can also

cause stagnation / reverse flow of blood as in the

case of inverted postures and should i avoid it.

Many Thanks

Sat Nam

Hi,

In Hari Kaur Khalsa's book "A woman's book of Yoga"

she mentiones postures for "relief from menstrual

cramping", she suggests you use a deep relaxing breath

with each of these & to also take time to consiously &

fully relax on your back for three minutes or more

after each exercise. She also mentiones that you can

practice these exercises alone or as a set...

1)Cobra Pose

2)Bow Pose

3)Beginner's Locust Pose

4)Leg lift's (you asked about leg lift's)

Also, I found in the back of her book her e mail

address if you have any further questions regarding

her book & it's contents...
