Guest guest
Sat Nam Lisa, heartily welcome to you and all other newbies on the list! How long are you in KY? Where are you coming from? Do you have other people around to practice and exchange ideas ? Attempting a move and going through changes mostly creates fear. I assume, that is what you tell us in between the lines?! I read recently a wonderful book - a pretty short management guide ('The mouse strategy'). In essence it is about the fear of changes and how to go through transformations. The key is to have a goal in mind - look for BIG goals, as the small ones are mostly hidden by daily problems. But the big ones are easy to keep in mind (in the sense - I want to retire with the age of 55 years and want to have saved 800.000,- USD and want to travel for 5 years throughout South America). So you have a target in mind and can think over of how to achieve it. Knowing the target gives you already a help for the direction where to move to (in this virtual case - how to earn, invest and save 800.000 USD). Just remember - almost everything is possible, you can achieve virtually everything. We are only trained and conditioned to limit our selves with our fears! You will come to crossroads in live and often have to ask the question - where to go, what to do next? And then ask yourself: what would I do, if I have NO fear? This simple question helped me quite often finding a decision or getting the initiative for making a move. Sending blessings from Shanghai, Adarsh S.
