Guest guest
As one continues to practice KY of Yogi Bhajan, applying awareness steadily through the active and passive parts of each KY exercise, kriya, amplified mantra, noticing, releasing, accepting, ....gradually the nadis fill with voltage, radiant and blissful, electric transparent. Each nadi, like the filiment in a light bulb radiates so that the whole body (the 10 bodies) begins to light the area around, like the sun lights and gives life to the solar system. What was the darkness of the limited light flowing through the mind's mechanism of attention, gripping each and every rising thought and impression with the notion of "I am these thoughts and impressions" gives way to being aware of oneself as the self effulgent screen of consciousness within which all images subtle and gross simply appear - undfferentiated, unconditioned, uncaused, without attachment. The self motivated orientation of the mind, the ego idea, releases, vanishes like a mirage. The mind becomes neutral. The seer (atman) looses its need for the support and attention to objects, and pulses within Itself "I as I." Suddenly in the midst of this pervading light of awareness arises a sense of "sunia" of hearing of knowing of abiding as ones' self essence - single pervasive awareness. Mania is the recollection that "I am this Truth" Then there is a delinking altogether of the last vestage if the "I am the body" idea, release from Maya. The body may be in pain or full of bliss, the mind may be racing or empty, suddenly there is .. nothing.Silence reverberating beyond silence. Yogis call it Turya, the pervasive light of being upon which waking, dreaming and deep sleep appear. The Real. The Truth. Love.
