Guest guest
"The Aquarian Meditation" (from the Archives) The "Aquarian Meditation" is actually three different Kriyas, each of which has a complete effect done by itself. Sat Kriya, Kirtan Kriya and Sodarshan Chakra Kriya. Work slowly up to 11 minutes for each part and move from one to the other , taking just a few moments to collect yourself between each Kriya. First, make sure to Tune In properly with the Adi Mantra. (I personally like to do Japji before tuning in. It deepens the entire experience) (kundalini yogakyt03.html} 1 - Sat Kriya - (http://www.susankezios.com/Kriyas/Sat%20Kriya.htm), 11 minutes of Kirtan Kriya (all aloud with navel point pumping with each syllable. 2 - then Kirtan Kriya - kundalini yogakyt15.html for 11 minutes. 3 - Follow that with 11 minutes of Sodarshan Chakra Kriya (http://www.sahej.com/Sodarshan.html) End with "One minute Breath" for 11 minutes, afterward (20 secs inhale, 20 secs suspend, 20 secs exhale. One minute Breath integrates everything and one should consider following any yoga practice with it. Begin where you can and work up to 11 minutes for each part. After you feel comfortable with 11 minutes, you can slowly work up to 31 minutes for each kriya. Lay on your back at then end for 11 minutes with a conscious, rejuvenating breath at the navel, releasing from the brow point. Guest guest
Sat Nam, Could you give a little history on this. I have heard "aquarian meditation" used in several difference contexts. Wasn't this originally a suggestion from Gurucharan, as a result of Yogi Bhajan saying these were the "key" techniques?--- Church?
Guest guest
What I've heard is that these three meditations were given as specially suited for the new age, simple as that. sat nam, -Baba P.S. - Church = sadhana Kundaliniyoga, "gondolf1" <gondolf1> wrote: > Sat Nam, > > Could you give a little history on this. Guest guest
Sat Nam, If that is true why is there also a 3ho sadhana, completely different than that, and sometimes referred to as the aquarian sadhana? I'm wondering what the difference between the two is.- -- In Kundaliniyoga, "Baba" <baba_sf> wrote: > What I've heard is that these three meditations were given as > specially suited for the new age, simple as that. > >

These are specific yoga exercises (not meditations). After you finish the three kriyas THEN you would do the seven MEDITATIONS that are often termed The Aquarian Sadhana. It is called so because Yogi Bhajan has said this is what we should do to prepare ourselves for the Aquarian Age. (I am sure the three KRIYAS comprising the Aquarian Meditation would also help prepare one for the coming age.) But, I would also say that neither is a substitute for the other. The seven meditation "sadhana" is critical to our consciousness. A "sadhana" is a daily practice we engage in to improve or raise our consciousness. The terms kriya, sadhana, meditation are often and erroneously used interchangeably. Is that clear? If not, trust your higher consciousness. You'll do the right thing. Guest guest
Sat Nam, I can't imagine doing all those things every morning without blowing a whole lot of circuits. I did some research and it was stated by Yogi Bhajan that these were the most important kriyas, and it was Gurucharan who suggested doing them together as an alternative form of sadhana.- -- In Kundaliniyoga, KartaPurkh Khalsa <kpsk_teacher> wrote: > > > Re: The Aquarian Meditation
