Guest guest
HI everyone; I have been reading posts of this group for a couple of months now and trying out some of the exercises. I have been practicing Qi Gong for quite a few years so energetic work is familiar to me. It is very interesting to test out a different way of working. My main question is; Are there any sets/exercises that help work out stiffness, tightness and tension in the upper back and neck area. I try every stretch that I can and while they do help a lot, over the course of a day my neck and upper back seems to get tighter and tighter. I am looking for something that will help me cure this for good. I am not looking for a magic bullet and I realize that it may take some time and a lot of effort to affect a change. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Jim
Guest guest
Sat Naam, Simple shoulder shrugs for 1 to 3 minutes does a wonderful job of releasing tension from the neck, shoulders, upper back, behind the heart. Inhale shoulders to ears, Exhale let it drop. Inhaling, tense up the areas that need attention, Exhale, let them relax. Follow shoulder shrugs with gentle neck circles with long deep breathing. Be happy! ranjit k. >"jamesmarkfrank" <jamesmarkfrank >Kundaliniyoga >Kundaliniyoga >Kundalini Yoga upper back and neck tension >Wed, 05 May 2004 03:40:53 -0000 > >HI everyone; >I have been reading posts of this group for a couple of months now and >trying out some of the exercises.
