Guest guest
Sat Nam Stephane, You are not alone in you observations. Like you and many others, Kundalini enables us to see things in a new light, with new eyes. We are able to cut through the minutia, thus learning to say no and yes, when we need to. We no longer allow ourselves to become submissive, or feel the need to agree just for the sake of agreeing. It is very unfortnate that there are those who do get angry and frustrated with our new outlook and confidences, but somehow the negative opinions and thoughts of other no longer affect me in the way they once did. Through Kundalini, we are no longer held bound, instead we free ourselves. For the Truth does set us free. Unfortunately I too, had to cut the ties with certain individuals, including some family members. However, the beauty of it all is that life begins to feel good and right and the negative emotions fade away. As for the creativity, it is amazingly Divine. Enjoy it! All good things to you Stephane! There are no words that can express my gratefulness to Yogi Bhajan for having brought this priceless gift to the West and to the teacher who taught me. My wish is for the entire world to embrace Kundalini and use it towards the benefit of others. Blessings to you and all, Monika SatNam, I've been practicing Kundalini Yoga for about five years, Hatha for eighteen. It seems that since I've started Kundalini Yoga, I set people off and they get angry and frustrated with me. It really feels like it's because my energy has changed. I happens most often wih people from my past. I guess because I am so different now. I speak the truth, ask for what I need, and don't stay in relatinships that feel unhealthy or are abusive. I feel like people want to dominate me sometimes, and I move away if that's the case. I've also noticed that it's really brought my inner talents to a level that seems to threaten others. I hope this doesn't sound egotistical, but the practice has given me a great deal of concentration and focus, and so as a ballet dancer I am now able to do things technically that I never thought I could. Even my teacher, who is a great master from Russia, looks at me sometimes as if he feels that I have a secret. The most difficult steps have become easy. I remember recognizing this in my first Kundalini Yoga teacher. His strength was superhuman, yet he was slight, quiet, and sensitive. Any thougts?
