We've been down this road at least once before and it is akin to putting a metal bucket over your head and whacking it with a stick for 40 minutes! You may find beauty in some of the answers to a question like this or you may not be impressed at all. It takes a John Nash kind of character (http://www.abeautifulmind.com/main.html) to really get the meaning of 26, 108, 27 etc. Searching for a key number which will unlock the universal patterns found in nature can be a full time job. That said, there seems to be some correspondance between 26, the number of vertebrae in your spine and the number of bones in your skull. The body tells its own stories with those bones in the head, spine, feet, etc., indicating that 26 is the key.
