Guest guest
Dear Ahmad A few months ago I was in a very similar situation to yours, also with an important event coming up just then. This is what helped for me: I was feeling so afraid that I actually got tired of feeling afraid, and one evening I just stopped trying to control my fearful thoughts (read the free online lesson about Surrendering to the Zone and the NMB no 83). I went to bed and lay in the corpse pose and allowed all my fears to play out like a movie inside my head. All I had to do was to concentrate on relaxing my body completely, the images came up automatically. It was not very easy to keep relaxed with all this going on in my mind, but every time I felt really scared by the images, I focused on relaxing, but kept the images rolling until they stopped. The next day everything was different. I don't think you should be doing any "strong kriyas" at this time. You need to be gentle with yourself. Your doctor might prescribe you a beta-blocker a day or so before your big event, which is not addictive, and will calm your adrenalin flow.
