Guest guest
I bought Kundalini Yoga: A Complete Course for Beginners. I'm on day three and I am almost bouncing off the ceiling. I literally feel like I am **vibrating**. And I'm not shilling if there are any cynics hanging around LOL. I simply cannot believe how great I feel. I've bought a number of dvds for yoga, tai-chi, etc and I never really connected with them. Mr Khalsa (is that the proper address?) is a compassionate being and it really comes off in the dvds. I can't wait for tommorow now. I never really introduced myself. I have been a practitioner of zen for about 15 years but I have always had a hard time of it. Sitting on that cushion had been an excruciating experience for me. In zen the don't really concentrate too much on the mechanics of breath. They just tell you to keep your breath low and count it one to ten. It's sort of vague. Granted, that may actually be enough for a lot of people. But I've realized that I have a lot of other obstructions, bodily in nature that I've never really addressed. About 15 years ago I went to one of the 3H meetings On Carroll Street in Brooklyn, but I didn't connect with it at that time and haven't really thought about it much since that time. But this past Februrary I got into some kundalini breathing exercises that I read in the back of an old copy if Be Here Now by Ram Dass(you guys remember that book?). Then I found the online kundalini course that is associated with this group. And a couple of days ago I got the Beginner's Course and am loving it. And here I am LOL.
