Hi, I just joined this group. I have been a follower of Kundalini

Yoga for over 5 yrs. now. I began with doing the video

entitled; "Kundalini Yoga with Gurmukh" from Living Arts Videos. A

friend and I would do it everyday and managed to keep it up for about

4 months! (How we did this is mindboggleing, I usually can't stick

with anything for more than a few day! :) lol)

Anyhow, I love to do this sort of yoga and am starting a 1 hr. class

in my Apt. Bldg. where we are going to be doing the above Video for

the whole hour.

My concern is this...I live in a Bldg. where there are many Seniors

and want to be able to have them participate. Would this type of

Yoga be too intense for them? I have done the video...not for a

while, so I'll be a "beginner" too, and it is pretty strenuous.

Also, a Yoga teacher I know says that Kundalini Yoga should not be

done unless you really know about Yoga. Especially the "Breath of

Fire". She claims it can really bring up energy and it could be too

much for some people. ???

What would you guys/gals think? Would this type of video be too

intense for older people?

Please let me know what you think when you get a chance.

Thank you!

ps... I am so happy I found this site! I want to start doing Yoga

on a daily basis again!
