Guest guest
Sat Nam All. Cancer struggling friend living with maddening ex husband who sends her racing back to hospital whenever her blood pressure soars. She doesn't know KY except vicariously through my devotion to it, and is open and receptive to whatever is suggested. She's at end of her patience and energy. I want to offer some breathing exercises as an alternative to drugs and the added stress of midnight emergency room runs. Losing the maddening ex not an option at this time for her. Which ones would be best for a true novice?? Much light love thanks. Jan
Guest guest
Sat Nam, One hour of long deep breathing through the left nostril is the traditional prescription. She could of course start with whatever length of time she can. She would also have to commit to it long enough to give it a fair trial, and let her doctor monitor her progress. -- In Kundaliniyoga, Knitter <namastesatnam> wrote: > Sat Nam All. > > Cancer struggling friend living with maddening ex husband who sends her racing back to hospital whenever her blood pressure soars. Guest guest
Dear Jan, The Basic Breath Series in Relax and Renew will cover all bases -- depression, anger, lack of energy, confusion. A shorter alternative is alternate nostril breathing, which I know you know, but is also in Relax and Renew. Left nostril breathing is specifically for relaxation and calming down and good before going to bed. When she is ready to do a full set, give her the anger set in Relax and Renew. The short version is running in place, punching for 3-5 minutes. Sat Nam, Gururattan Kaur
