Sat Nam,

First off many, many, many thank-you's to this wonderful on-line

community. I have 'lurked' here ( too shy to say anything-till now) and

learned so much from the various posts from everyone. What a wonderfully

uplifting community! Did I say thank you : )

I read a post here about a month ago, regarding an organic celery fast -

I think it was a 40 day fast? I am interested in doing a fast, but am a

bit reluctant because I was diagnosed with hypoglycemia some years ago.

Though I am better these days, (probably due to KY) but I still have times

where my body neeeeds protein - or it's not pretty... I have read/heard

that I could supplement my Celery fast with a veggie protein powder mix.

Has anyone experienced this fasting situation before? I have also heard

that there are numerous cases of people that have fasted and gave their

digestive system a much need break, so much so that the body actually

devoted time to healing itself by catabolizing old tissue and toxins and

rebuilding anew (anabolizing).

Are there any kriyas that I can do specifically for the adrenals in

preparation for the fast (at least 10 days - for starters) with minimal

stress on the adrenal/pancreas?? Also, are there any meditations/kriyas

that I can do while fasting to bring enlightenment and a closer connection

to God?
