Guest guest Posted July 31, 2004 Report Share Posted July 31, 2004 sat nam everybody In the last week i have reading a great book about chakras called "eastern body western mind" and i realized through reading that i have deficient and weak first chakra which stops me from grounding which i already feels through some emotianally painful feelings of fear and disconnection from my own body and extremely lack of concentration but the worst out of all is i dont feel a sense of aliveness or a sense of self. As a result i tried to do nabhi kriya for 3 days but i stopped because in the fourth day i kinda felt that the fear in my body increases as i starts to feel shaky in my stomach (which i heard it is a cleansing process!!) so i dont know should i keep going in doing the nabhi kriya or is there any way else that will help me get rid of that fear and makes me ground. Keep doing Nabhi Kriya!! And feel the fear and the shaky energy in your body. The reason you can't ground is because you avoid feeling. You have to feel your feelings, emotions and sensations in your body to be in it. Being in your body, is how you ground. Of course, these feelings don't feel good at first. That is exactly why we don't feel. But stay with it. For the feelings to shift be with them in a very loving way. You have to be totally ok with your fear. It will transmute as you align the energy, and be with it. It takes time and loving patience. But it is possilbe and your life will change. Give your self 40 days for your first phase. Guest guest Posted August 1, 2004 Report Share Posted August 1, 2004 sat nam everybody my name is Kris in Tucson, AZ---and my response to Ahmad, from what i understand about Chakra's is the fear or darkness is something of your past that u have not delt with completly and the shaky feeling in can be cleansing but also your ego's fear of dealing with the issue you have to complete ( look into your root Chakra and poss some of it is in you 2nd Chakra). Guest guest Posted August 2, 2004 Report Share Posted August 2, 2004 Ahmad, Try doing the full time for the electro-magnetic projection and protection part of Nahbi for the full 15mins, the part where you extend your legs and grasp them (this part helps with the fear and i do feel protected), I do it on my bed to avoid getting my butt rubbed raw. Sat Kriya over time in good for balancing lower triangle over time. Takes time, i'm still working on it. Try this from meditations in times of crisis. I just did it today and it seemed to alleviate my anxiety and fear. Nirmal recommended it to me. Grasp your left ring finger with all the fingers of your of right hand keeping your left thumb below your right hand. Chant ra da ma sa sa say so hung (I hope i got the mantra right, better check it before trying.) for 3 mins for fear and healing It worked for me today and i felt more confident. Maybe after Nabhi, you could do the meditation for healing using ra ma da sa sa say so hung, or kirta(e?)n kriya Caliber of life meditation might help too. Try to experiment and see what works. I'm in the same boat as you bro. I feel so trapped sometimes by fear and disgusted by how this limits my life, but we're on the right track. I'm staying sober and nearing my 4th week of nahbi and kirten kriya with sodarshan at night and i can already see some improvement.
