Sat Nam Rama and All,

Much thanks to you and the others who shared their insight regarding my

question. It’s wonderful and amazing to be part of such a wonderful group!

Yes, many of my tears of late are coming from the heart, but not always in

meditation, but during Kriyas and sometimes during the course of the day, whilst

being engaged with a movie, a book, or just clearing dishes from the table.

However, the tears experienced whilst practicing Gaiyatri Mantra happen as the

meditation is ending. My eyes develop a burning sensation and seconds later,

tears fall (without the emotion), yet there is no need to stop the meditation.

It's as though one were looking up towards the sun, without having to look away.

This experience also occurs during Sadhna and Sodarshan Kriya, which I did stop

practicing, only because my body began to experience a tremendous amount of

heat, and was unable to sleep nights, do to the energy. It is my understanding

that the heat being released here, relates to one’s Karma, but would love to

know if anyone has kept up with Sodarshan Kriya and Sadhna by moving through any

waves of heat.

Love, Peace & Light to All,

Bliss

Last weeks I have been crying daily tears of compassion, it started

at the yoga festival in Europe. Did you feel like crying from the

heart? The RA MA DA SA SA SAY SO HUNG Meditation is known a a healing

meditation. Every tear in this case is a blessing, it heals you, let

them come out without thinking or judgements - just be and let your

heart glow and radiate...

Sat Nam,

I personally can't imagine sitting down and doing anything without a

least a warmup series of some kind. Spinal flex, Navel work, Sun Salutions as a

minimum. I actually prefer to do a full yoga set before Sodarshan

or Kirtan Kriya. This addresses all of me, and allows a fuller

integration of my practice. My experience will be one of my full psyche

and not from some small disciplined corner of my mind and body.

In all of our "doings" it is so easy to have yoga be just another on a

long list of "doings".

Time to honor the full feminine aspect and that requires some time and

space.

I am curious what time of the day you were doing your Sadhana? At any rate, this

heat you and others are experiencing is not at all unusual. I would highly

recommend practicing Kirtan Kriya at this time (

kundalini yogakyt15.html ) You're in a sorting process. This is a

good time to feel and appreciate your vastness and to "contain". Consider a head

cover at least during practice, if not all the time.

You can do Sodarshan afterward and finish with One minute breath (20secs inhale

- 20secs suspend - 20secs exhale) for 11 minutes.
