Guest guest
Sat Nam Ahmad! Your description of the feelings and emotions you experience could be brought on by marijuana use. Since you mentioned that you used this substance to help calm you down and you felt paranoid, disconnected, dead inside I am assuming this is not the first time you used it? Marijuana can be detected in the body for weeks after use. It is a depressant and can create paranoia. There are many ways to become connected again through right diet and Kundalini Yoga. Yogi Bhajan has given a banana and cardamom fast to facilitate this type of healing. Why not give a Kicheri diet a try? There are many meditations and kriyas to bring you into the vibrancy of life you crave. Kriya for Working the Total Self might be a good one for you. The comments about this set are: "This set is a complete workout of the self. Exercises 1 to 3 build the aura and circulation. Exercises 4 and 5 balance the aura and sexual energy. Exercises 6 to 12 stimulate the pranic functions and loosens the spine. Exercise 13 rebalances the entire auric circulation and takes you into a deep meditation that gives you a sense of security and that activates your self healing capacities." All blessings to you for great health and aliveness! Guru Ravi Kaur
Guest guest
Dear Ahmad, Where are you from? > Your description of the feelings and emotions you experience IS brought on by marijuana use. And thank you Guru Ravi Kaur for your response and good council on what to do. Basically you have to claim back your will, which has been taken over by the drug. Nabhi kriya or any other navel set is a must to get your will back. You have to choose between marijuana and KY though. They do not go together. I know there are people who do both, but Yogi Bhajan says this is dangerous. I hope others who have substituted KY for drugs can help encourage you and assist you in making the shift. The good news is that you have found KY and have reached out to find out what to do. You are very, very fortunate. Start practicing at least one hour every day and you will be amazed at how you change. You will find peace and happiness within. Please keep us posted so we can support you and enjoy your progress with you. Sat Nam, Gururattan Kaur San Diego, CA

Guest guest
Dear Ahmad, Thank you for telling us where you are from -- now Canada and originally Egypt. Now I understand better. I had a student recently who is now living in the US and was from India. He said he is now depressed, but he was happy in India. Even though he is financiallly much better off here and has a good job. The western society has an inherent tension, stress and anxiety that people take on without knowing it. I understand that you tried to deal with this with marijuana. Fortunately you have found a more authentic technology. Please keep us informed of what you are doing and the progress you are making. Be aware that there are always challenging moments and days. But that is part of the process. But be reassured. KY works! All you have to do is do it and stay present to your experiences.
