Sat Nam to all in this wonderful group.

This is my first post, but I have been practicing KY for several

months and reading the posted messages regularly. I have been using

the information on the kundaliniyoga.org website as a guide.

It is inspiring to see such an open forum with so many people

helping, teaching, and supporting each other.

I would like to share some of the sensations I feel in my body while

practicing KY and compare my experience with others in the group.

In the morning, I usually perform Lesson #6 (exercises for

maintaining a flexible spine) and/or the Nabhi Kriya to strengthen

the naval center. I find the sets are wonderful for helping me wake

up in the morning and raising my energy level to carry on through the

day.

I find that while performing the exercises and while relaxing between

exercises that a mild tingling sensation starts in my torso and

spreads through out my body, just below the skin.

After performing these sets, I begin meditation by performing

rootlock and slowly but firmly pull my naval center back toward my

spine. The result is a surge of this tingling sensation up through

my chest, into my head where it feels like it circulates around my

skull. At the same time, I feel like my body is lighter and I

automatically sit up more straight. After I release the root look,

the sensation gradually recedes and spreads downward from my head

through my body. The result is a feeling of great calm and warmth

and I find I can easily slow my breating to less than four breaths

per minute.

I am interested to know what others in the group experience.

Thanks to all.

Dave
