Introduction and synchronicity

Sat nam everyone.

 

Firstly I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Darren, I'm from Auckland, New

Zealand. I have been doing hatha yoga since the beginning of the year and KY for

3 months or so. It has been a fantastic journey already, discovering the

laughter of the soul and the joy of the devine. While I'm only getting glimpses

at present, to know that not only can I be aware of that but that I can

eventually BE That has restored my humour and hope after difficult times. It is

restoring and enhancing my relationship with my soul mate and is guiding me in

bringing up our two (busy) boys with love and patience instead of anger and

reaction (4 and 5 yrs old, they like long sat nam and it helps them get to

sleep!). KY has been so reassuring in helping me put name, structure, and

wisdom to the feelings of moving energy I have had since my earliest memories.

 

Isn't the synchronicity and guidance great? Two anecdotes: looking for a book on

Kundalini Yoga in the library for the second time - couldn't find it the first

in the Dewey section it was supposed to be in. Thought I'd try again a few days

later for some reason and there it was, first book I saw (almost jumping off at

me) three shelves up placed in the wrong position! Ahhh.

Last night: staying in a hotel on business, at 7.30 getting a really strong

feeling I should go to the restaurant (for a drink). Finally went down, glanced

in, decided I would abandon the idea, couldn't figure out why I was guided to go

down so left. Today I found out that an associate who is fun to be around didn't

know I was in the country too and was having dinner all alone in the restaurant

at exactly that time! I had followed my intuition, but not completely enough...

 

Finally a big thanks to you Gururattan Kaur for the excellent KY lessons and the

beautiful flowing language itself.
