Guest guest
Dear Kris, Do Sitali breath with long deep breathing--slow your breath down to 4 or less breaths per minute for 11 minutes several times a day. Be present to the sensations in your body and GET OUT OF YOUR HEAD. Feel your heart. Don't listen to what you are thinking. And don't believe what you think. In the present moment there is no fear. Find another reality to tune into in the moment. This all takes practice, but it does work and you will have lots of energy. Fear blocks energy. Guest guest
Could you share with us the anger exercise? I find chanting har, har, makunday quickly makes me feel brave. Also check out the guru ram das humanology web site they have a section called meditation in times of crisis, which is quite good for fear, Thanks Nirmal! Put right hand over left hand palms facing down and grab the left hand's ring finger with all the finger of the right hand, and chant ra ma da sa sa say so hung for 3mins. Takes away fear. Check old group posts for Kriya for Conquering Pain, this helped me too. Also at www.susankezios.com kriyas seventh body kriya helped me too. I hope this helps and to the rest of the group have patience with me for sounding like a broken record. - Chris Brookline Maine --- Kris <krimsonirishboy wrote: > sat nam everyone-- I am Kris from Tucson, AZ > > i have been doing yoga for about a month now and > have felt alot of > issues come up and pass and much energy --- on the > 7th i got a Reiki > I attunment and a couple days later finished and in > the 3rd week of > also practicing Deepak Chopra's - Spontaious > Fullfillment (GREAT > book) and has many great exercises -- esp. the anger > one -- it was > like a whole seperate person of all anger steped out > of me and since > i have been in and out of fears and this week has > been very > difficult -- i even broke out in hives on both arms. > > any sugestions --- lemon and tea tree oil have > helped > > Nameste > > kris > > >
Guest guest
Dear Kris, I just wanted to add to what I wrote and the suggestions of Chris. If you are thinking about fearful situations then you are in your head. But if you simply experience the energy of fear without a story then you are closer to the primal energy that you must deal with. Anger is also a primal energy that one can experience and not even have a reason why. One of the ways to tap into the power of these energies is simply to feel what they feel like in your body. They have to have *our attention to be transformed into power. And then we have to * love this energy like we would a child. The other thing is * flowing with it, allowing, moving with it. These energies move, shift and change. We have to be able and willing to allow the movement. This can sound very theoretical. But it is a formula for befriending the primal energies so that they serve you instead of intimidate or anger you. Take one small step at a time and be with what you feel where you feel it, like in your stomach, belly, solar plexus. Without judgment or analysis. Watch what happens. Of course, doing KY will facilitate the movement, balance and alignment of energies. Then it will be easier to feel and create shifts. I would like feedback from anyone who tries this or has been working with their primal energies in this way. Guest guest
Hi Chris Thanks for your suggestions and everyone else who has added. I would love to share the exercise, but it is a couple pages long and it is part of a book with other exercises leading up to it, I do highly recomend the book and its under $20.
