Guest guest
I've really found that I enjoy practicing chanting the mantras in my practice. ji-o - 11mins for ridding anger- must be chanted quickly as many times as possible per breath, in monotone is fine too. magala charn mantra- for fear makes me feel posiitive too. Projection and protection from the heart meditation is great! found in transition to a heart centered world and also at the www.suzankezios.com site ad gurey name jugad gurey name sat gurey name siri guru devey name mangic mantra- ek on kar sat gur prasad sat gur prasad ek ong kar backwards and forwards- 4reps per breath, as many reps per breath as i can quickly i find effective. 11mins- for positive thinking (Must be chanted with reverance- I usually chant the mul mantra 4 times to connect, otherwise has a backlash if chanted wrongly, YB has warned) With some of the mantras I feel pressure on the different sides of my head within a few minutes and after 11mins, I find my outlook of feeling overwhelmed or depression has completely changed! To anyone who is new to KY you should check this out, even if you only sing in the shower it is worth your time. Im remember starting out 2yrs ago, and i was like this rocks! With the nabhi kriya, and changing of my eletro-magnetic field and feeling real secure from within with the navel power. Now two years later I've just discovered the singing part or chanting and I'm still lsaying this rocks! KY is multi-faceted and for being a person that usually gets bored with most activities, I've finally found something still keeps my interest. I'm grateful to finally have found a tool to help me with my emotions and I thank you guys for your support! Now, my questions. 1) In my daily practice can I do back to back different mantras and still have an effective practice. YB says to pick one meditation and stick with it for 40 days does this include shabd or word meditations too? 2) Do I need naval power to create the lasting changes that these mantras embody? For example is it better to do frogs before a meditation facilitator to set the naval before chanting or can i just chant and be taken care of? YB said that all transformation begin at the naval center and that meditating for three years without naval power would not create the same amount of change as with meditating with naval power for 3 days. Does this apply to shabd as well or is it a different aspect of KY outside of meditation? To those more senior members of the group please correct me and excuse me if any of my advice for chanting is wrong. -Sat Nam -Chris (formerly of brooklin maine, madrid spain, now baltimore maryland) _______________________________ Win 1 of 4,000 free domain names from Enter now. http://promotions./goldrush
Guest guest
Dear Chris, Thanks so much for sharing the mantra mediations that you are now doing and how they shift your attitude and energy. Many people have asked about depression and so this information is valuable. For newcomers it is also useful to note that there is a progression -- you started with the exercises and now are realizing the benefits of the chanting. This sequence isn't the same for everyone, but everyone does have a sequence. The point is to stick to your practice and let it unfold. > 1) In my daily practice can I do back to back > different mantras and still have an effective > practice. Yes. But leave a few minutes between mantras to integrate the effects. YB says to pick one meditation and stick > with it for 40 days does this include shabd or word > meditations too? * Yes. You can go longer and you can do more than one at a time. > 2) Do I need naval power to create the lasting changes > that these mantras embody? * Certainly helps. For example is it better to > do frogs before a meditation facilitator to set the > naval before chanting or can i just chant and be taken > care of? * the former is preferable. YB said that all transformation begin at the > naval center and that meditating for three years > without naval power would not create the same amount > of change as with meditating with naval power for 3 > days. * you just answered your own question. Does this apply to shabd as well or is it a > different aspect of KY outside of meditation? * It applies. Shabd is one type meditation. Keep up! You are doing great.
