Guest guest
Sat Nam Swami Kaur, The following three exercises are from Healing Through Kundalini: Specific Applications From the Teachings of Yogi Bhajan, Ph.D. Please feel free to confirm these Gururattan. All the best to you. 1. Sit down with yours legs extended wide in front of you. Sit with spine erect and hands on top of the knees. Inhale deeply as you flex the spine forward, exhale as your flex the spine back. Keep the knees straight throughout. Continue for 2 minutes. 2. In the same position, place palms flat on the floor about 18 inches in front of the groin. Keep the spine straight. Put as much pressure as possible on the palms and heels, as if you were trying to lift yourself off the floor. Keep the tension while doing long, deep breathing for 2 minutes. 3. Sit in easy pose. Make both hands into fists. Extend the arms out straight alternately in a punching motion, inhaling as the arms pass each other and exhaling as each arm reaches its full extension. The breath will become breath of fire. Continue for 2 minutes. Comments: These exercises are not a set. Each of them may be done separately. The first two drain the lymph glands from the groin and the thigh areas. The last one removes toxins from the lymph glands of the shoulder area; it is also good for the digestion. Blessings, Monika J Dear Gururattan, I'm addressing this to you. I have had a recurring problem since I has a hysterectomy some years ago. The lymph glands in my groin become inflamed about once every two years and it becomes quite painful. I found three sets in the "Transitions to a Heart-Centered World" manual and am wondering which would be best for this situation. My first instinct would be all of them, but which would be best for when I'm in the middle of one of these "attacks"? Thank You, Swami Kaur La, CA, USA Kindest regards,MvGHM
Guest guest
Dear Swami Kaur, and every woman. > I have had a recurring problem since I has a hysterectomy some years ago. The lymph glands everywhere in the body need to be massaged at the very miminum very week to keep them flowing. Massage these everyday for a while -- one to two minutes. This is part of self health maintanence. but which would be best for when I'm in the middle of one of these "attacks"? * Don't wait until you are in the middle of an attack -- at which point the massage would be the best way to deal directly. There are leg exercises for the hips in Relax and Renew which are good too. Do the ones with legs wide apart and kicking every day. ex. 4 on page 62, 6 on page 38, 1 on page 34, in fact the whole set.
