Guest guest
This note reminded me that there is something I have meant to post for some time but haven't gotten around to it yet.....my mother has lymphedema as a complication from having had a cancerous breast & lymph nodes removed. Fortunately, the cancer is gone and she is out of danger. Now, however, the lymphatic fluid in her right arm does not circulate properly, and she has to wear heavy bandaging all the time to keep it from swelling like a balloon. She is going to Iyengar yoga classes and sees a masseuse who is specially trained in massage for lymphedema, but I am wondering if anyone else out there has some more suggestions or advice I could pass along.
