Hello everyone,

Is it possible to release kundalini energy without practicing yoga?

Crrect me if I'm wrong, but isn't practicing KY like forcing the

kundalini out, is there not a natural way of releasing kundalini

energy. For example like practicing the will of god.

I want to practice KY, How long on average can it take for a beginner

to get to the point of Kundalini release?

If one is practising KY with the objective of opening the crown chakra, what

would be the state of the three lowest chakras? Are they closed (or inactive)

so that the K energies are flowing from the anahata upward? Thank you.

Dear Suky,

Yes.

> Crrect me if I'm wrong, but isn't practicing KY like forcing the

kundalini out,

* No. It is opening the pathway to consciousness.

* Many ways. Kundalini yoga is one of them.

For example like practicing the will of god.

* That works if you can do it. KY helps get to this consciousness.

* There is no answer to this question except that it depends. It is usually

gradual but not always as Matt will attest to.

The rest you have to find out by your own practice. KY is a path of

self-initiation through practice and awareness.

K is raised from the Muladhara and must flow into each successive chakra before

reaching Sahasrara (the crown chakra). So all chakras should be healthy and

functioning, none should be closed. Closing off the lower chakras would not only

impede the K energies, but would cause problems relating to grounding, survival,

creativity and sexual abilities, will power, and emotions ranging from fear to

guilt to self worth.
