Sat Nam Everyone,

It's been quite a day and I'll need to sleep tonight to make up for

last night. (staying up 'til 3am chanting Dhan Dhan all the while

thinking that I was going to lead Sadhana was not workable).

I went to go and teach today and no one was there. That has never, ever

happened

in my 15 years of teaching, and it's not like any of them knew of

Yogiji's passing. I am still grappling with that one.

The news is still hitting me here and there. I've told myself for a

long time that my relationship with Yogi Bhajan was already in the

subtle realm and that whenever I need some guidance or connection I

could sit with the Tratakam photo or use the Complete Adi Mantra for

Individual Meditation. It's like I never wanted to want anything more

from him, as I still had plenty of homework, but I know I still had it

in the back of mind that I could call on him or write. Now that he is

gone, so is any imagined sense that someone bigger than me would somehow

"save" or complete me. I'm reminded of that old saying "we are the ones

we've been waiting for". There is certainly a growth opportunity here.

I am just beginning to sample it's vastness as I go between a deep

sadness and a pretty sober happiness. The man did live his life fully and he

left a pretty clear the path for the rest of us to follo.

Gurumustuk Singh and the folks at Sikhnet have put up a wonderful

section dedicated to Yogiji. There is a wonderful photo gallery, details

about the Memorial Service, some great videos and other goodies.

I was particularly touched by reading the letter by Ek Ong Kaar Kaur at
