Guest guest
Sat nam Everyone!!! I watched the service most of the day yesterday, and all night, excepting a few short dozing periods around 1a.m. Athens, Greece time!!! I thoroughly enjoyed EVERY second of it, as well as my boys, attention span allowing. The stage/alter was beautiful with all of the flowers and pink lights. Everyone looked so beautiful. Bibiji looked so stoic and dignified in her sorrow, but you could see that she was being held UP by the LOVE that surrounds her. Blessings and Gratitude to ALL that made viewing this possible!!! It was one of those once in a life-time events that I shall never forget. I now feel closer to the 3HO Family, which leads me to my question. Would someone kindly tell me WHO the KEYNOTE speakers were? 1. The Guru who led the Yoga class and long EK ONG KAR, plus he participated in many songs-who is he, please??? 2. Another Guru who was present in many proceedings, sang songs, spoke both English and Sanskrit??? 3.I believe Gurunam was there participating in songs on the bongos, but never spoke. 4. Who is this Mother Theresa of the West with the sense of humor??? It would be fantastic to have this on VIDEO!!! Blessings,Love Peace and Always LIGHT, NIRMAL KAUR
Guest guest
Glad you were able to tune in. Some answers below. Georgia Victoria Weinkauf wrote: > Sat nam Everyone!!! > > 1. "Guru", with a capital G is not a term we use to describe any of folks in our worldwide community. Not even Yogiji would want to be called "Guru". The term Guru (in Sikh Dharma) is reserved for those ten Saints who form the foundation of the Sikh faith. Guru with a small g, can be anything or anyone who can bring one from darkness to light. Regarding the "sadhana leader", as I am in roughly the same time zone as New Mexico, I was doing my own Sadhana and so wasn't online. I did catch the end but don't recall who that was. I can find out who that was. > > 2. Another Guru who was present in many proceedings, sang songs, > spoke both English and Sanskrit??? You are referring to either Lakhsmi Chand or Siri Chand. They are the twin sons of Awtar Singh in Atlanta. I can finally tell them apart, after 17 years. > > 4. Who is this Mother Theresa of the West with the sense of humor??? That's Ma Jaya Bhagavati. She is an absolute character! She is from Brooklyn and a student of Neem Karoli Baba (now deceased). Check out her community at http://www.kashi.org/ She was like the Shakti to the Shiva that Yogiji embodied. > > It would be fantastic to have this on VIDEO!!! contact Gurumustuk Singh <gmustuk > > > Blessings,Love Peace and Always LIGHT, > NIRMAL KAUR > > > Kundalini Yoga - for the best online > selection of Books, Videos and DVDs on Kundalini Yoga, based on > ancient technology as brought to the West by Yogi Bhajan.
