Guest guest
Sat Nam all, I have raised this issue a couple of weeks ago: A friend of us suffers from breast cancer and has to undergo chemo. Right now she has returned to Shanghai (to be again united with her family and to do some yoga with me :-) I met her this afternoon and she asked me to do some yoga sessions with her in order to support the healing process and ease the effects of the chemo. So, is there anybody out there with some advise? Without knowing too much about breast cancer, I would do sets for strengthening the immune system and Ra-Ma-Da-Sa-meditation. Any other advice? Has somebody out there experience how to deal with chemo and breast cancer? Your advice and input is highly appreciated! Sending blessings and light from Shanghai, Adarsh S. Sat nam, Adarsh, My support,Love,Blessings and Peace are sent to you and to your loved ones. If you have the time to order, I highly recommend "The Divine Doctor," by Joseph Michael Levry(Gurunam),from yogatech.com. There is a section about cancer, and exercise sets, etc. to do.OR,you can go DIRECTLY to his web-site; www.rootlight.com, as he is a HEALER, as well as a Yogi, Kundalini yoga teacher, and Kabbalist. He uses a UNIQUE method of CURING ALL diseases permanently, called "HARMONYUM." If you go to the web-site, you can personally set-up consultations with Gurunam, or explore further possibilities in curing your loved one. This all sounds fantastic, and it IS!!! I have been working under his guidance since July 9,2004, the day of my 1st kundalini rising, and I firmly KNOW in MY SOUL that he IS a GOOD man, and a GIFT to humanity, earth and the Universe. He has had a tremendous POSITIVE impact on my life, Spiritually. To me, he is Divine LOVE. Yogi Bhajan endorsed Joseph Michael Levry, and so-named him= "Gurunam(Gu;stands for darkness/duality, and ru;stands for light/divinity. Nam;stands for the power of the spoken word or sound.) "The name Gurunam represents a person who uses the power of the word or sound to bring light into people's lives. I pray you find the answers to your questions. In Health and Blessings to you and your loved ones, Love, Peace And ALWAYS LIGHT, Nirmal Kaur
Guest guest
As a multidimensional and intuitive healer for many years, I'm a beginner to k. yoga so I leave others to advise you there. I suggest reading You Can Heal Your Life by Louise Hays (who cured her cancer) to understand foundations of disease. Her Holistic Healing Recommendations section in the back can trigger knowing which technique to use to break mental-emotional patterns causing the cancer. blessings and light from Santa Barbara ki soaring eagle --- Jürgen Laske <jlaske wrote: _______________________________ Express yourself with Y! Guest guest
Sat Nam Nirmal Kaur, funny co-incidence: In fact I have the book 'Divine Doctor' from Gurunam. Actually I met him in April in Germany and I attended the seminar of 'Harmonyum' in Heilbronn :-) :-) :-) It is definitely one of the treats I want to give my friend! Right now I am looking for some kriyas / sets to do, which our friend could do WITHOUT my presence. I understand that the fight against cancer is a holistic one and starts - like most fights - in the head with the mindset towards life. Then comes lifestyle, exercises, mental well-being. Also food and diet are an important factor. I am gathering right now a lot of input and hope to give the best possible advice and support to our friend. Guest guest
Sat Nam, Your question about Yoga and breast cancer is of interest to me because I have just been diagnosed with the same. Oct 18th, I had a mascetomy and reconstructive surgery. Tomorrow, I find out when chemo will start. I'm doing well and count this as a blessing. The miracles I've seen come through family and friends since my diagnosis are truly amazing. Support of family and friends, like yourself, can make all the difference in the world. I've been following the doctor's advice about breathing and taking walks, but just came across an article in my 'Massage Today', October issue, that has an article about an Oncology Conference, . You may find the article at www.massagetoday.com/archives/2004/10/20.html. There's also a website for the Oncology Conference, which was founded in 2003, the Society for Integrative Oncology (SIO) for professionals interested in studying complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) in treating cancer. Their website is: www.integrativeonc.com. Hope this help and Sat Nam to you and your friend. Guest guest
Dear Adarsh Singh, Give her a meditation on the heart center. One of the factors in breast cancer is the lack of self-love. She can practice loving the sensations she feels and loving her body. Also she could place her hands on her breasts while she chants and send the energy and love to her breasts. She could do this while laying down too, either with a mantra or the breath. Maybe her breasts wants some love. Guest guest
Sat Nam, dear Gururattan Kaur, thank you for your advice! We had our friend yesterday afternoon over to us for some homemade apple pie (no sugar ;-) and some yogi tea (no milk). She says from herself, that she regards her dis-ease right now as a chance to order and organize her life in a different and more self-loving way. As a mother of two boys she always is / was eager to be the perfect mother and wife - having a perfect home, well educated and well-behaved kids, understanding and caring for all the problems of husband and kids - and forgetting about her own needs and desires. I asked her about her hobbies or interests and she started stuttering... As I understand is personal 'well-being' related with several aspects of your life: 1. your 'self' - time for your own disposal, for personal interests and hobbies, for day-dreaming, reading, etc. 2. your health - enough exercises, proper diet, enough sleep, living environment, etc. 3. family life - children, relationship, close relatives, etc. 4. challenge and satisfaction from work, 5. cultural environment - friends, social life, newspapers, etc. - all things that you are used to and which give you a feeling of being 'home' Yesterday I was sitting in front of my computer and prepared a yoga-lesson. Suddenly I got this overwhelming feeling of being supported and guided. I closed my eyes and visualized immediately Yogi Bhajan and felt very much cared for. It was like an affirmation '..you can't do wrong - go ahead and give your best. It will work out and be like a wonder....' Sending blessings and light from Shanghai, Adarsh S. Guest guest
Sat Nam, Women have an arch line between the nipples. I suspect that it is broken if one has cancer. She can strengthen the arch line with her own mind and love. A good idea for all women. Feel the energy between the nipples and make it stronger with your own attention and care. Hands on the breasts can help this process. Sat Nam, Gururattan Kaur
