Guest guest
Sat Nam, There is more than one kind of self hatred (aka guilt, embarrassment, shame). There is a kind that we can grow from when balanced with hope, and then there is the neurotic kind that we inherit from our upbringing (or past lives) that has no use whatsoever and that we need to unlearn (if we choose to do so). For this neurotic kind there is a very wonderful series at http://www.sahej.com/inner_anger-one.html. (also printed in Shakta Kaur's book "Kundalini Yoga" at http://www.yogatech.com) "Inner anger is the basis of inferiority and superiority complexes, manipulation and lying, all skin diseases, misbe-havior, wrong calculation, destruction of business success, and destruction of relationships. Inner anger blocks you from having a relationship with yourself. This set works on the body system to release us from our inner anger" Be very clear with yourself what this self hatred is about. If you I the baby in the sun, that is guilt I can harmonize with. Guest guest
Lila, Sat Nam, Kriya for self-love is wonderful for this. It is a meditation with three parts to it, then you sit relaxed for a while after to experience it effects... it is a self-blessing which opens the heart and nourishes and balances the whole aura. See my post on 5th October this year for more info about the experience I was starting to have with it. I am just reaching about 70 days of daily practice now. Since that post I have more info about the Kriya. I am just off out to work right now, but will post the details of how to do it over the next few days.
