Guest guest
I have been asked to work with someone who used to be addicted to drugs and has now been diagnosed with mild Schizophrenia. This person occasionaly refuses to take his medication and is a real problem for his parents. Also, he is not a teenager, he is a grown man already. Has anyone treated such a person and is K.Y. safe for this or will it open them up too much and cause more problems? I have read that there was a program for addicts that Yogi Bhajan had in the States some time ago. Anyone with info on this would be most appreaciated. I need to know, so please, if anyone has any info e-mail me personally or through the group. Thanks Sunder Kaur Toronto, Ontario
Guest guest
Hello Sunder, I STROOONGLY recommend Gururattans book: relax and renew. I offer yoga + for prople with addictions, that is my #1 resource, as a recovering alcoholic myself. Please start with that one, then ask if you would like more resources. As for Schizophrenia: "Seduction of Madness" is a fantastic book! A must for anyone interested in understanding a little bit in that area.
