Guest guest
Sat Nam, I have been reading this list for some time and I have to say you are all a wonderful bunch of light beings! Very sincere, very compassionate, and very patient... I am trying Kundalini yoga on my own as there is no teacher in my area. I started the smiling buddha kriya when I read the New Millenium Being that contained that kriya some months ago and practiced it for over 40 days. WOW! What great results and I didn't "tune in" for most of the time because I didn't read about that until later. In fact, I often chant in my mind SA TA NA MA or ONG NA MO GURU DEV NA MO during the day also and I find it really clears my mind from the chatter of the day. So I wanted to say thank you for being here... I have a question...In going over the lessons offered on the kundaliniyoga.org, I started doing the 4/4 breath and wondered if it was okay to also try doing the silent meditation. I do the 4/4 breath throughout the day but I wanted to know if it was okay in the morning to start with the 4/4 breath and then do the silent meditation? The 4/4 breath has been great for when I get off work and proceed to my martial arts class. It has really grounded me and given me energy for the end of the day. Thank you! Guest guest
Dear Luchia, I am trying Kundalini yoga on my own as there is no teacher in my area. * Good for you and all the others who have this spirit! I started the smiling buddha kriya when I read the New Millenium Being that contained that kriya some months ago and practiced it for over 40 days. WOW! What great results * I would like to hear some of the results. This was my very first meditation too. >In fact, I often chant in my mind SA TA NA MA or ONG NA MO GURU DEV NA MO during the day also and I find it really clears my mind from the chatter of the day. * Great. So I wanted to say thank you for being here... * You are most welcome. >I have a question...In going over the lessons offered on the kundaliniyoga.org, I started doing the 4/4 breath and wondered if it was okay to also try doing the silent meditation. * Absolutely. I do the 4/4 breath throughout the day but I wanted to know if it was okay in the morning to start with the 4/4 breath and then do the silent meditation? * This is the best way. As I just explained to Kartar Kaur, we do the exercises to clear the space so that we can meditate on the silence and turn our attention to inner connection. This is the frosting. Certainly we do not want to miss the chance to be present to ourselves is just a calm and peaceful way. > The 4/4 breath has been great for when I get off work and proceed to my martial arts class. It has really grounded me and given me energy for the end of the day. * Thanks for sharing this. This is one of the breaths that create a great change in a very short period of time. Sat nam!
