Guest guest
My brother is extremely timid, a prey to unnecessary fears. Is there an exercise I can do to stop myself being "infected" by his fears? Losing my temper with him and calling him a pusillanimous idiot only makes matters worse. Thanks, Geoff Geoff Hargreaves San Miguel de Allende Gto. Mexico Post your free ad now! Canada Personals
Guest guest
Life is never simple. You fear his fear. Let your fearlessness, infect him. Do you practice Kundalini Yoga? --- Geoff Hargreaves <geoffhar23 wrote: > > My brother is extremely timid, a prey to unnecessary > fears. Guest guest
Dear Linda, Thanks for your comment. Yes, I think you´re right. I do fear his fear--that´s why I´m tempted to respond with rage. I´ve just started Kundalini yoga after a year of Iyengar. I thought that using the Root Lock might help me. Maybe not. Guest guest
Dear Geoff, Rootlock always brings more consciousness. Do Kirtan Kriya to deal with the emotions. Sat Nam, Gururattan Kaur
Guest guest
Sat Nam, The best way to influence someone else is to change yourself. Let your fearlessness, infect him. * Good advise. Do you practice Kundalini Yoga? * How about the anger set? You mentioned this is part of your issue. Sat Nam, Gururattan Kaur
Guest guest
Dear Geoff, Awareness that your anger is a result of fear is the first step. Now how do you adjust your thinking to not to react negatively to your brother's energy? Root Lock is good for grounding and fear. Based on my personal experience with a similar situation, working with the navel center is good for your personal sense of power, Nabhi Kriya, Stretch Pose building up to 3 minutes, Sat Kriya building up to 11 minutes daily... Archer Pose 3 minutes on each side.....Breath of Fire wonderfull, Kirtan Kriya to get rid of that subconscious garbage, meditations or kriyas to build up your magnetic field. Also balancing the 1st and 4th Chakras to feel at home in your own body allowing you to feel comfortable around your brother and not threatened, (acceptance) and seeing your brother through the eyes of compassion, not fear. Alot of things to investigate....set your intention and you are on your way. Sat Nam, Linda > Thanks for your comment. Guest guest
> What is the Kirtan Kriya? SA TA NA MA meditation. The most basic meditation of KY. It is the subject of one of my one on-line lessons and in almost every KY manual. Sat Nam, Gururattan Kaur
