Guest guest
Sat Nam, dear Kathleen, your thoughts of being disloyal to your teacher when looking for other sources of knowledge and wisdom show a portion of attachment ;-) If a teacher tries to 'bind' a student (eg. emotionally or not teaching the WHOLE truth), then something is going to be wrong. It could be an indication of the socalled 'spiritual ego' - and this is hard to cure 'disease'. Yogi Bhajan said once: don't love me, love my teachings... We as teachers should say the same. Guest guest
Sat Nam, Thank you for your reply! Can you tell me what a typical student/teacher relationship is like? Is there some form of rapport with the teacher? As for the attachment issue....and spiritual ego disease...(yikes is it terminal or can it be cured???) Sorry, just a bit of levity here (hope you're smiling). Many blessings and Joy Kathleen Kundaliniyoga, Jürgen Laske <jlaske@g...> wrote: > > Sat Nam, > dear Kathleen, > > your thoughts of being disloyal to your teacher when looking for other > sources of knowledge and wisdom show a portion of attachment ;-) > If a teacher tries to 'bind' a student (eg. emotionally or not teaching the > WHOLE truth), then something is going to be wrong.
