Guest guest
Sat Nam, Hello to all kind souls who share and post here. For the past 7 months I have been attending a KY class locally, and practicing on my own with some very good books that I've purchased. The progress and benefit of KY is truly a blessing. I find now that I am restless in meeting with my teacher once a week. Our class in a very small beginners group, and lately I "feel" like it's time to deepen my practice. (My teacher does not offer more classes than once a week). I am grateful for what I have learned, and what she has taught me, good basic foundation....now it seems like the butterfly in the cocoon is ready to open her wings and fly....exploring another teacher, another group to practice with! At first I struggled with this decision; would I offend my teacher by moving on to a new teacher? Would I be disloyal to her somehow? Then quite simply, after meditating the answer came, as I listened...there are many teachers, each one offering what we are ready for, when we're ready for it. We move on, serving each other, teaching each other, honoring each other. Thank all of you for your insight, compassion, and sharing, it is a tremendous inspiration to reach higher and listen deeper.
