The amrit vela are the "sweet" or blissful hours in the morning before

the sunrise and before people rise when it is the best time to

meditate. This is the time when spiritual teachers visit their

students from the ethers to guide and bless them. It is quiet on many

levels and the best time to meditate and communicate with our

spirituality. Regards,

I was under the impression that 'amrit' meant 'nectar' Sat Nam! Julia

Sat Nam,

'amrit' means literally nectar,

'amrit vela' are the ambrosial hours (3 - 6 am), where it is best to do

Sadhana and where meditations are most effective.

Sending blessings and light from Shanghai,
