Guest guest
Sat Nam Erica! You don't say how long you have been practicing KY and are you practicing with a KY teacher? Shaking is generally nervous system. Ayurvedically speaking shaking, ungroundedness, fear, nervous system disorders, psychic experiences is Vata out of balance. GROUND! We are presently in Vata season with Kapha accumulating. Cold, dryness, wind, traveling (even driving), doing too much, all aggravate Vata. Warm Sesame oil massage in the morning, keeping regular schedules ( bed around 10 up at dawn, eating 3 meals at the appointed times), slowing down, eating creamy, warming foods (mung dahl, roasted vegetables, oatmeal, soups) all will help to allay the shakiness, ungroundedness of Vata. Vata is pacified with calming kriyas, more of the meditations, chanting long Sat Nams and so on, your KY practice if too forceful may be adding to the feelings you are experiencing.
