Guest guest
Namaste to everyone. I would like to share with you a great news. on dec, 17 my only daughter gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. She was born 7lb.7oz and her name is Ariella-Maya. She is adorable and cute and we all very happy. However we do have concern - mama does not have breast milk...even it is only 3rd day we still want to be certain it will come. Any suggestions on home remedy, what to eat, drink, herbs, suplemens and etc to help lactation will be greatly appreciated. My Best to all. Guest guest
Congratulations! I don't know what happened to my message. I hope this isn't redundant. I had a baby Aug, 2003, and I too had a hard time producing enough milk. Here are some of the things that I learned: a. warm compresses, especially early on can loosen thick clots of collostrum b. massage the breasts from the base towards the nipples with a circular motion, as if doing a monthly breast exam c. fennel - most vitamin stores have herbal suppliments and teas that aid in milk production d. some people say brewer's yeast (I didn't try this one) e. acupuncture! find a good acupuncturist f. reduce stress; try long, slow, deep breathing g. pump; get a breast pump and pump after nursing the baby, even if you don't get much, the stimulus is there; the body will try to supply for the demand I hope this helps. Take care.
