Guest guest Posted January 12, 2005 Report Share Posted January 12, 2005 Sat Nam...the pattern of pain that you describe is also a trigger point pattern for the trapezius and sub-occipital muscles ...so you may try massaging right at the base of the skull...and also gently pinch and hold your trap muslces to release tension being held in them.....both of the muscle groups would tighten if you were looking down alot, kind of poke nosed or drawing your shoulders up towards your ears without realizing it.
