Guest guest
Sat Nam All, I have come across this issue twice from students who I've taught jala neti to. After some time of practicing, they experience pressure in their noses - sinus pressure at the top, back part and then they choose to stop because they say it hurts too much. We've discussed this and it's nothing to do with how they do it, when they do it (morning and/or night), temp of water or amount of salt. I'm curious what others may suggest and if any of you have come across this. Thanks. Blessed be. Yogi Raj Sri Leo Rousseau
Guest guest
I have used my neti for 18 months with fantastic results. I have not had a single sinus infection or headache in all that time. I suffered from both conditions for the last ten years! I do not use salt at all; just water at body-temp. I often do it in the shower, and it is rather pleasant. Recently, I have started using a "mini" or travel neti. This vessel is much smaller. Although I have to repeat each nostril a couple of times with the smaller neti, there seems to be a difference in water pressure that makes the ritual more comfortable.
