I give now since a couple of month 'yoga for kids' as after school activity in an international school in Shanghai. I observed, that the kids (5 - 12 years old) feel much more relaxed and confident, if they have the chance - to jump around (release energy) - to shout and roar (like a lion for example - releases stress)and finally - to laugh (I use to 'wake' the kids up from relaxation with a pink plush pig - the kids LOVE it and giggle endless, when I come and let the pig 'kiss' the soles of their feet or cuddle their nose I think: where there is laugther, there cannot be fear.
