time for 'the destiny of women!'

i would once again like to invite any women on the list to join me and a

group of others in reading and discussing gururattan kaur khalsa's most

amazing book, "the destiny of women." we will begin on the new moon (feb

8), with both the book and a 40 day meditation (we are trying to decide

whether it will be sodarshan chakra kriya, kirtan kriya, or perhaps even

something else). our group is 100% democratic and decisions are made by

all. our plan is to read a prescribed part of the book, then share our

thoughts on it with each other, then when we feel ready, move on to the

next part. there is no syllabus, no timetable, no requirements, no goal

other than to reflect together. this is not like a "course" or "class;"

there are no exams or papers, no pressure, just a chance to connect with

other women and enjoy! please feel free to email me offlist if you are

interested. if you feel you cannot actively participate, but would like

to be added to the mailing list, i will gladly do that (oops, must run

this by the other members first; i only just thought of it this

minute!). then you might be inspired to join in, which would be wonderful!

special note to men: you guys should beg gururattan to write a book for

you too!! i know she is very busy but you deserve a book of your own.
