They are free from pain and negative emotions once they cross over. I always feel wonderful after contacting them because as an empath, I sense their profound serenity. I don´t know if you don´t know or didn´t want to tell Marc that there are also many souls in pain and some who have not found that peace that you are talking of. Not all souls arrive to a state of love and peace after crossing over. I have had cases where I had to help souls to find to the light and I have even encountered cases where I could just watch their suffering without being given a chance to free them because they are still bound to suffering due to strong mental obscurations. Though this is not a knowledge that can be spread to any people, I believe you should be even cautious with telling too conforting stories about the states of consciousness after the physical existence. Some suicidal people might think otherwise that death is a great solution. It is, however, not a secure ticket into states of bliss. We can find peace there always if we managed to unfold love and true concern for ourselves and others in this very world. Learning in an on-going basis from all the lessons in my life and the choices I make in every situation, in every thought that enters my mind. The I, the spiritual being of who I am, the "me," the one aware, the knower (soul), is completely freed after death. It being all energy is no longer under the influence, binds or limits of body, mind, and ego. -in my humble opinion, after death, soul - no longer requiring the answers to the lessons it had learned in life, is freed of all negative-- worries, concerns, etc.-Until it starts over, in another life again growing (or repeating)into a new level of consciouness. Soul, always learning in one form or another by the choices one makes in life, and receiving more and more answers about how to love self and others. Love, after all is the only answer. Also, thank you for your work in leading souls across.
