Guest guest
Thank you for all of the helpful posts concerning my daughter. My daughter has now been in the hospital for 15 days. By law since she is a danger to herself she must stay in the hospital and take the medication that is prescribed to her till the psychiatrist, etc. decide she will most likely not attempt suicide. I had a meeting with her today and the dr.'s and she admitted she would not tell me if she wanted to commit suicide because then she will be unable to do so. My yoga question is this. My understanding is that no death, etc. is by accident and that the timing is what was agreed about prior to this lifetime. Can a person by will really have control over that? Their time of death? Does not a guardian angel prevent such a thing? The hospital did have yoga for those suffering from depression, etc. but due to construction this is temporarily stopped. Blessings, Sangeet
Guest guest
My dear Sat Sangeet, I agree with you, however, God gave us free-will to CHANGE our karma, less we repeat karma over and over, accumalating debt and sufferring, OR move UP to higher levels of consciousness by the choices we make in EVERY NOW of our lives. Guest guest
Sat Nam Sangeet, As always this is only my experience based on my similar experiences. Disregard them if you wish. It is my understanding that Guardian Angels will never impose their will on anyone. they will lovingly, gently coax, but the individual must be willing to listen. I am pleased to hear that your daughter is still being monitored. It sounds as though the doctors understand her condition and that she is in the best place right now. I hope that they allow her to practice yoga in there, if that is what she wants. Yoga is fabulous however, the first requirement for Kundalini yoga is the desire for awareness. If someone does not have that desire, yoga will not give it to them. Your desire to save your daughter is admirable and understandable. But haven't you done all you can? As I read your posts concerning this, I must honestly say that I am as concerned for your mental and spiritual well being as hers. Are you seeking counseling for yourself? Focusing on your recovery through this is the most helpful and healing thing you can do for your daughter. By focusing on her and what she is or isn't going to do may be actually making it more difficult for your daughter's spirit to heal. You might want to ask her or the doctors if she feels pressured. Feeling pressured might make it harder for her to heal. Another approach might be that when you next see or talk to your daughter, don't ask her if she's going to kill herself. Don't try and fix her. Just talk to her in the moment and love her. take her mind off her suicidal desires, (I'm sure the doctors are talking about it plenty with her) Give her the feeling that she is a free soul and that you have no expectations on her. Give her some breathing room to grasp and face her feelings and heal on her own. It's ultimately out of your control anyway. If she's determined to commit suicide, no power in the Universe can stop her, so give her to God and let him help her. I hope this didn't sound too harsh. It comes from a place of love. Just my thoughts based on my similar experiences. Do with them as you wish.
