Guest guest
Thank you, Shabad Singh, for the information on meditation time. Do the same effects occur with those times in various sets of movement in kriyas? And, what effect or significance is associated with various repetitions, i.e. 26, 52, 108...? I have heard and read 26 in correlation to the spinal vertebrae. Joan
Guest guest
I can only tell you what I have been taught. The times for the physical kriyas should only be practiced as they are given and that totally varies from kriya to kriya. My understanding is that the times listed for physical kriyas should be adhered to and if needed the times can be cut in half, but no doubled. You should follow the times and order of of the exercises given by the teacher or whatever is listed in the manual. (If you're working from a manual). There may be significance with the number of repititions, but I don't know what they are. The meditation times that I listed are a general guide, but many meditations go for 15 minutes or 7.5 minutes or 14 minutes etc,..... Some meditations can be harmful if you go beyond the suggested time limit (or so I am told). Some have No time limit. It is a good idea to ask your instructor or if you are working from a manual. follow the times given there. Hope that is helpful. Guest guest
Sat nam Joan, I have looked, but I can not find it right now. The 26, 52, 108 repetition significance has to do with numerology, and with the mathmatical explanation of how God created the World, if I am not mistaken. I could be wrong. There IS DEEP significance to it, I know! In Love, Peace and Light, Nirmal Kaur P. S. And, yes, that is true, the entire body fits in mathmatically, along with the entire Universe!(7 Creative Planets, 7 days of the week, 7 Human races,7 Continets, 7 Primary colors, 7 musical tones, etc) > Thank you, Shabad Singh, for the information on meditation time. Guest guest
Shabd Singh is correct. See your health care professional, and follow his or her advice. But, in general KY really can't hurt no matter what your condition. It can be adjusted so you're still able to practice and meditate. A brief story from when I first began to practice KY regularly. Within a week or so two rather large ugly boils erupted on my body. One on my third eye point and the other at my tail bone. I obviously began to cleanse in a very obvious way! KY has a way of accelerating the rate of change we go through. Normally we're all making progress at what might be called a walking pace. Practicing KY puts you in the driver's seat of a spirtual Ferrari. Things go better (and faster) with KY. Guest guest
Sat Nam and thank you Nirmal for your response. I've sent the question others & if I receive further information, I'll post that. Joan >> And, what effect or significance is associated with various >> repetitions, i.e. 26, 52, 108...?
