Guest guest
Sat Nam: I have come down with a blood disease where I make too many red blood cells. The treatment is they take a unit of blood every 8 weeks or so. My spleen is enlarged and my gallbladder has stones. I have no to surgery. Other than waiting for my next body, anyone have any ideas on how to self-treat this condition? Blessings. -Bob
Guest guest
Sat Nam Bob, Note: Always consult your doctor before starting any new form of exercise or meditation. The following meditation is said to balance the red and white blood cells: Sit in easy pose with a straight spine. With the right elbow bent and relaxed near the body, raise the right hand up to the side as if taking an oath. Middle and index fingers of the right hand are pointed up, other two fingers curled down under the thumb. Hold the left hand in the same mudra, with two outstretched fingers touching the heart center, midway between the nipples. Make the otustretched fingers as straight as possible. Eyes are either closed or focused on the tip of the nose. Breathe slowly, meditatively, and with control, taking the breath mentally from the nose up to the third-eye point and then down to the hear where the fingers are. Continue for 11 minutes. The inhale and exhale deeply 3 times, and relax. The meditation is said to help balance the distribution of the white and red blood cells. This balance is intimately involved in the proper functioning of the body's immune system. Do the meditation once a day for 40 days in order to perfect it. The above meditation was passed on to me during my Kundalini teacher training course and can also be found in "Healing Through Kundalini: Specific Applications, From the Teachings of Yogi Bhajan, Ph.D. If you can't find it, please let me know, and also feel free to let me know how you are doing afterwards. How long have you been practicing Kundalini Yoga? Blessings, Bliss
