I have a Hiatal hernia. My doctor said that strengthening the diaphragm muscle

would help a lot. Does anybody know any exercise to strengthen the diaphragm

muscle?

Mohamed

Thanks you

Sat Nam, by all means diaphragmatic and abdominal exercises will

strengthen the navel point BUT they also work directly in the area of

the hernia you are talking about. So ... You must be careful and work

directly with your MD on what exactly you are doing. There's a number

of Nabhi kriyas and an abdominal strenthening kriya or two in just

about any KY manual. But you must be very careful with this. Always

consult you health care professional. You don't want to injure

yourself more before you heal yourself. Go easy, good luck and God

bless you!

Kundalini Yoga - for the best online

selection of Books, Videos and DVDs on Kundalini Yoga, based on ancient

technology as brought to the West by Yogi Bhajan. Also a great range of

beautiful Meditation and Mantra CDs, all with RealAudio sound clips.
