Guest guest
Sat Nam Everyone, I have been asked to teach my first class to a group of 12 women after work. They only want a 45min yoga class and many of the women have not done yoga before. I would be very grateful for some sample classes for beginners, any tips would be apprieciated. Guest guest
Sat nam Siri Ram As I AM preparing myself to begin teaching soon, maybe I can help. 1.Put on relaxing music/inncense-try to prepare yourself 1st either with prayer or KY. 2.Do/teach everyone long deep breathing and breath of fire to help All Relax and settle down. LDB at least 10-15times. 3.Always start each class with the Adi Mantra, then begin your kria: Go to www.kundalini-matashakti.com/images/Ten%20Bodies This is "Awakening yourself to your Ten Bodies." It is excellent, and good for beginners. Or, just go to www, kundalili-matashakti.com There are many sets to choose from, as well as 3HO.com!!! 4.Do a meditation(10-15minutes)found at either site. 5.Yoga Nidra-10minutes or so in corpse pose for rest/ relaxation;Up, rolling wrists, ankles, stretches, back-rolls, etc. 6.Sat Kria, if you have time! Long Saaaat nam's, followed by Yogi Bhajan's "May the Long time Sun Shine Upon you, All Love Surround you, May the Pure Light within you, Guide your way on." Love and many Blessings to you, Nirmal Kaur ALWAYS REST/PAUSE BETWEEN EACH MOVEMENT TO ALLOW INTEGRATION/FLOW OF ENERGY/PRANA!!!VERY IMPORTANT!!! Guest guest
Sat Nam Siri Ram, When I have these quick demands I love to go to Sadhana Guidelines and pick the Maha Shakti Chalnee Indra Mudra a Transcedental Meditation or the set for the glands. I start with spinal flexes on easy or rock pose, 26 side twists, some kind of breathing and then straight into the set. I find it interesting because it still there is time for people to relax at the end and feel the differences going thru their body/mind. I hope you have a wonderful moment and also hope this helps.
